Whether the TPM chip is enabled, you can check in BIOS, but it is far more comfortable to check the setting from within the running OS. All this can be found in the Windows GUI tool called tpm.msc – but sometime you don’t have access to the GUI and need console output.

Check Powershell version Command in Windows 10 – How to tutorial.
Command Used: $PSversionTable
Since Windows 10 comes with Windows PowerShell 5.0 installed by default but the WU (Windows Update) component is supposed to install a superior version automatically (Powershell 5.1), some users have been looking for ways to determine which Powershell versions they are currently using.
If you’re a fan of doing tasks through a terminal with Powershell, it’s always a good idea to make sure that your system uses the latest release. This is especially true if you’re using an OS version older than Windows 10. Keep in mind that PowerShell got a lot more powerful starting with version 5.0 – you have a lot more control over Windows Server and it also gives you more control of Exchange, Lync, and SQL-based servers.
This tutorial will apply for computers, laptops, desktops, and tablets running the Windows 10, Windows 8/8.1, Windows 7 operating systems.Works for all major computer manufactures (Dell, HP, Acer, Asus, Toshiba, Lenovo, Samsung).

Powershell command : get-tpm
Microsoft announced that Windows 11 will require TPM (Trusted Platform Module) chips on existing and new devices. The Trusted Platform Modules (TPM) is a chip that is either integrated into your PC’s motherboard or added separately into the CPU
type PowerShell in the Start menu search bar. Right-click on the Windows PowerShell result and choose Run as administrator. Click Yes on the confirmation window.
In the Windows PowerShell app, type get-tpm, then press Enter.
If TpmPresent returns False, then, unfortunately, your motherboard doesn’t have a TPM chip. But if you get the following results:
TpmPresent: True
TpmReady: False
You can then activate the TPM chip in your BIOS/UEFI and check if you’re eligible for the Windows 11 upgrade.

$variable = get-WmiObject -Namespace root\cimv2\security\microsofttpm -Class Win32_Tpm | Select-Object ManufacturerVersion | Out-String if($variable -eq “8”){ Write-Host “success” }else{ Write-Host “Fail” }

Da die Legacy-WMI-PowerShell-Cmdlets (z

B

powershell.exe -ExecutionPolicy bypass -Command “(Get-WmiObject -Namespace “root\CIMV2\Security\MicrosoftTpm” -Class Win32_TPM).SetPhysicalPresenceRequest(14)”

Get-WmiObject -Namespace ‘root/cimv2/Security/MicrosoftTpm’ -Class ‘Win32_Tpm’ | Get-Member -MemberType Methode TypeName: System.Management.ManagementObject#root\cimv2\Security\MicrosoftTpm\Win32_Tpm Name MemberType Definition —- ———- ———- AddBlockedCommand-Methode System.Management.ManagementBaseObject AddBlockedCommand(System.UIn..

powershell.exe -ExecutionPolicy Bypass -Befehl “Get-CimInstance -Namespace ‘root/cimv2/Security/MicrosoftTpm’ -ClassName ‘Win32_TPM’ | Invoke-CimMethod -MethodName ‘SetPhysicalPresenceRequest’ -Arguments @{Request=’14’}”

Windows 11 and TPM 2.0 Explained (How to Enable TPM / PTT on your PC) Update New

Windows 11 will require a Trusted Platform Module 2.0 (TPM 2.0) chip in order to install. In this video, I’ll explain what TPM is, why it’s necessary, and how you can enable it on your PC.

Hey, thanks for watching. If you enjoyed this video, please SUBSCRIBE to HandyAndy Tech Tips for more Windows 11 tips!

TPM is a way of storing and generating encryption keys in hardware, which is safer than using a software approach because it is harder for malicious software to access. To make their OS more secure, Microsoft has decided to require this functionality on all Windows 11 PCs.
You can tell whether your computer has TPM by opening the Run box and typing “tpm.msc”. If it says that the TPM is ready for use, and the specification version is listed as 2.0, then you’re good!
On the other hand, it might say that a compatible TPM cannot be found. But don’t worry – you might be able to enable TPM functionality on your system, and here’s how.
If your PC was built after the mid-2010s, there’s a good chance that it has TPM functionality, regardless of whether it has a dedicated chip. This is because many CPUs actually include TPM in their firmware! Intel’s trade name for this technique is “Platform Trust Technology”, or PTT, and they started including it with some of their 4th generation Haswell processors in 2013. Most AMD Ryzen chips also include so-called “fTPM” technology.
You can enable these technologies in your BIOS – and in the video, I’ll show you how.
